McEnroe Organic Farm is devoted to producing premium organic meats, vegetables, and compost. We maintain sustainable agriculture on approximately 800 acres allotted for organic fruits & vegetables as well as grain, hay, pasture, composting and woodland. The majority of compost produced at our facility is used on the farm. We have ten greenhouses for growing hothouse vegetables, seedlings and transplants. Additionally we have seven cold frames to grow fresh leafy vegetables and herbs during cold weather. McEnroe Organic Farm maintains the fundamental principles of organic farming, nourishing our soil through careful strip cropping, rotations and amending it with compost. When protecting crops, we use only Northeast Organic Farming Association (NOFA) approved herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers.
